Our latest teas from The Tea Studio have arrived and they are better than ever. We have three new green teas all made from the same Assamica leaf, but very different styles. The Tea Studio is part of a new wave of producers across India who have been energising the local tea industry in recent years. 

The Great Taste judging panel 2022 have given several of our teas their seal of approval by awarding them with coveted gold stars.

It may still be nice and warm outside, but in reality the last of the summer is upon us..! Before the back to school, back to work mentality sinks in, see the season out in style with a delicious tea infused cocktail. 

Besides a cup of tea, there are many dishes that can include tea as we discovered on our recent travels to visit tea gardens in India, some more unusual than others like the tea leaf pakoda...!

Try this alternative to classic iced tea. Our recipe involves making hot masala chai the traditional way, by simmering chai tea in milk (instead of water),  then straining, adding sugar and pouring the hot liquid over ice.  This way, the end result it not too watery.

All tea comes from a single evergreen plant, the camellia sinensis. There are different varieties of tea plants, but it's the processing that determines the type of tea (i.e black, green, white, yellow, oolong, or dark). Here we explain how whole leaf black tea is made.
