It's been a trying time for tea growers across South Asia in the wake of the pandemic. Here's an update on how the small-scale tea gardens we work with have been navigating the crisis.

We talk a lot about how processing affects the taste of tea. One area that can get overlooked is freshness. When we buy tea we may not really think much about when it was produced. Tea doesn’t “go off”, and it doesn’t have an expiry date but tea can lose its flavour, aroma and colour as the months pass.  

The summer is finally here, and the warmer months call for lots of refreshing hydrating drinks.  A chilled glass of iced tea made from high-quality leaves is so easy to prepare, and lets you experience tea flavours in a whole new way. 

For us, a cup of tea is more than just a cup of tea.  We want to elevate the experience of tea from India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal not only for those who drink it, but for those who make it. 

After months of lockdown planning and a fair few cups of tea, we've made it!   We are now up and running, and ready to deliver Karma Tea straight to your door.
