Glacier Green is a snappy green tea with a subtle vegetal taste and buttery toasty notes. It brews a clear, pale gold colour with flavours developing over multiple infusions.
It's sourced directly from the Kanchanjangha Tea Estate in eastern Nepal which is located in the foothills of Mount Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. The estate is organically farmed and the area is renowned for its rich vegetation with ideal conditions to produce aromatic teas.

🌱 HOW IT'S MADE
Glacier Green is made by using the finer two leaves and a bud from the tea bush. Once harvested, the freshly harvested leaves are swiftly brought to the factory to limit exposure to oxygen. Dry heat is then applied to the leaves to deactivate the enzymes that causes oxidation. This process stops the leaves from turning brown and it also helps bring out the nutty flavours in the tea. The soft withered leaves are
then gently rolled to rupture the leaf cell and release the essential oils and aromas. Before being dried, the rolled leaves are left to sit for 20 minutes. This helps to bring out the buttery and toasty flavours that make this green tea unique.
☕️ Brewing suggestions
We recommend using 2-3g of tea per 250ml water at 65-70°C for 2-3 minutes. This tea can be infused twice.
