AMBA CEYLON
£8.00
Amba Ceylon is a rare black tea produced by the Amba Tea Estate, an organic tea garden located in the renowned tea-growing region of Uva in the eastern highlands of Sri Lanka. Only a small batch of this hand-rolled tea is produced each year. It makes a distinctive and brisk black tea with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit and citrus, with a hint of classic Uva wintergreen. Brews a coppery red colour.

🌱 HOW IT'S MADE
Amba Ceylon is made using only one leaf and a bud, a higher standard of picking than most commercial farms which pick two leaves and a bud. The leaves are withered and then rolled by hand in small batches by the same women who pluck the leaves from the bushes. After oxidisation, the leaves are dried in a biomass dryer.
☕️ Brewing suggestions
We recommend using 2.5g of tea per 250ml water at 95°C for 3 minutes. This tea can be infused twice.
