ASSAM & GINGER
TASTING NOTES: Malty, Ginger, Dark Wood
A simple blend of whole leaf black tea from Assam, and pure ginger to give a little kick. The Assam tea is sourced from a group of small growers who we visited in June 2022. The ginger is fresh from the state of Mizoram in India’s remote north-east. It’s subtly spicy and delicious on its own or with milk, and can be brewed twice.

🌱 HOW IT'S MADE
The Assam tea is made from a fine-picked harvest during the second harvesting of the year, and the tea is processed using the orthodox method which involves withering, rolling, oxidation, dehydration and sorting. The orthodox method is used to process the best black teas harvests. Fresh ginger is later added to produce this particular blend.
☕️ Brewing suggestions
