ANYDAY DARJEELING
£8.00
TASTING NOTES: Muscatel grapes, mountain flowers, cacao
This black tea comes from a small family-owned garden in Darjeeling in the heart of the Himalayas. It's harvested during the second picking of the year from old, seeded "pure China" tea plants. It brews an amber colour with notes of muscatel and honey. A delicious, highly aromatic tea.
Harvest: June 2022

🌱 HOW IT'S MADE
Anyday Darjeeling is made during the second harvesting of the year (typically from June to beginning of July). The two leaves and a bud picked at this time tend to be firmer. The leaves are processed using a slightly longer oxidation period, which gives them a full bodied liquor and a malty muscatel fragrance.
☕️ Brewing suggestions
We recommend using 2.5g (2 tsp) per 250ml water at 95°C for 3 minutes. This tea can be infused twice.
